Mosaic has produced several software add-ons to Syllabus Plus using the COM interface. Our systems team are able to assist institutions with the migration to Syllabus Plus Enterprise. Examples of our COM products are:

Activity Priority Groups Generator

This application takes Syllabus Plus Activities information to enable users to place Activities in the order in which the user wants to have them scheduled. A user may wish to start with large lecture theatre activities, move on next to three hour laboratory sessions, and so on.

Scientia Enterprise / RUIS DTI

This applet uses the COM interface in Scientia Enterprise to automatically extract Location and Activity information, which is then converted into RUIS compatible import text files.

Module Sets Creator

Module Sets Creator is used just before the timetabling process starts. The application creates Student Sets for Modules that have insufficient Student Sets, to ensure a clash-free timetable.

Activity Name Updater

The Activity Name Updater employs the Syllabus Plus COM Object Model to re-name multiple Activities for a Module so that they are numbered in order of their position in the week.
