Our new AuditM software was previewed to universities from Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region at last week's meeting of the Australasian Syllabus Plus Reference Group (ASPRG).

University timetablers immediately saw the advantages of gathering room use and occupancy counts using a mobile phone, with the capacity to upload the data via Wi-Fi either immediately or at the end of a shift. This solution replaces the traditional method, where paper forms from auditors need to be rekeyed into spreadsheets.

Use of a web-enabled database means that the Audit Manager can set-up and modify audit routes in an easier fashion. Audit progress can be monitored continuously, and the results can be reported (including both tables and charts) immediately.
